



The Lily Pad Room for Infants
Open to Ages 6 weeks - 18 months

At Little Leap Learning Center, your infant will experience nurturing care in a safe and loving environment. Knowing that learning begins at birth, with over 90% of brain development occurring within the first 5 years of life, our care provides focus on giving your infant daily meaningful key experiences. As your little one continues to learn, grow, and make new discoveries, we’ll keep you informed by providing daily activity sheets.
Our Learning Environment
Our infant room is specially designed to provide endless opportunity for learning and growth through intentional interaction. Providing age-appropriate toys and equipment promotes active movement and development. Some things you’ll find in the infant room include:

Low padded center table, safe for learning to stand and explore all of the sensory options on top.

Reflection mirror for self-recognition and emotional and social development.

Infant feeding and activity table for 8. This allows feeding and activities to be a social experiences.

Music, music, music! Experts in early childhood development have shown infants consistently engaged in meaningful music have multiple benefits. Music greatly impacts their language skills, social and emotional development, and fine motor skills. Listening to calming sounds or classical music during rest time will help your infant relax and have a more meaningful sleep.

Each infant is changed and fed "on demand" not just by our schedule. While we try to help each infant create and maintain a regular schedule.
